How much exercise to get, what kind of exercise is best, and even <em>when<\/em> to exercise for optimal outcomes. Other topics include sleep\u2014 how much to sleep, and even when we should go to sleep and when we should wake for best effects on our body and mind. Even what times in the day are best for doing different kinds of tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-1i344\" style=\"font-size:28px\">And all of this is about your Dosha\u2014 your mind and body type.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-70mq6\">Initial health effects of eating in a way that conflicts with your Dosha may include bloating, indigestion, heartburn, focus, and or sleep issues. <em>How<\/em> you are eating is a major factor in this\u2014 what are your thoughts while you&#8217;re eating, what is your setting like? Are you eating when your Agni <em>(digestive fire<\/em>) is low? When true hunger arises\u2014 not <em>appetite<\/em>\u2014 but your body\u2019s actual need for food, we must then make sure we are eating the right foods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-jitt\">Energy depletion, disruption of bodily systems, and eventual disease can result from over\/under-exercising, or over\/under sleeping\u2014 or doing too much or too little of many different aspects of our lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-7ft6e\" style=\"font-size:28px\">What Ayurveda teaches us is that maintenance of ALL these factors is crucial to preventing disease.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-107dh\">Prevention is the true aim of Ayurveda. The goal is not to have to treat diseases once they arise\u2014 but to maintain several daily practices <em>(dinacharya)<\/em> long-term to avoid disease. As disease looks for \u201cweak\u201d points in the body to inhabit, prevention ensures strong immunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-e749e\"><strong>Living preventatively is truly living by Ayurveda.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-3gtal\"><strong>This is why I am bringing a brand new program to Omkar to make it easy to do all of this.
