  • Soak ¼ cup green mung beans in hot water for ½ hr to 1 hr.
  • Boil the mung in 4 cups of water till its soft and mushy. Strain. You may add 1-2 teaspoons mung beans to the liquid. This is your mung bean soup/yusha.
  • Seasoning: heat ½ tsp ghee in a small pot, add pinch of asafeotida (‘hing’) and couple pinches of cumin seeds, add boiled mung soup.
